WOW! The Summer of Intentional Change turned into a whirlwind of activity here on the home front. Family, Nature, travel to exotic vacation destinations, and yet another year journeying through the Master Key Experience, learning more and more about myself as each year progresses…

It is currently heavily snowing here in Colorado, and half of my family whom I live with here are gone on vacation for the next 10 days. As I sit here in the silent stillness, observing the majesty of nature all around me, a still small voice within begins speaking. She’s getting clearer and louder as each moment unfolds. My Spirit is encouraging me to proceed onto the next group of stepping stones that I envision leading to my next reality.

I see myself in the middle of a gently flowing mountain stream, jumping and climbing from large rocks to boulders… my hair is freely blowing in the breeze. I discover the perfect boulder to take a break on and I begin to write in my Journal.

I suddenly remember a photo of me doing exactly this, which my Mom took back in 1983, when I returned home from Hawaii. My mind suddenly jumps to all those journals that I have kept for all these years, and the photos of me when I was but my 3-year-old self; Intentional, Independent, Energetic, Intelligent, Courageous, Carefree, and Rebellious.

Oh, My Goodness… My Purpose. My Passion. All right here in full, living color!

Just Wow! Where do I even begin?! I take a deep breath, and wonder where the last several months have gone? All the years, and the decades for that matter…

As humans, many of us use the excuse of never having enough time or resources to do the things that we need and want to do. However, in reality… We have everything within us already. We are Magnificent by design! We simply need to just let our light shine!

I think of the many times during the last 6 months that I had full intentions of doing something, but “time” got away from me. This limiting belief has got to go! So, I act NOW!

I made myself a to-do list of items to accomplish while I am snowbound here for a few days. This blog being one of them. Wait… what month is this again? March? Yikes! This definitely explains why I have felt so out of balance lately. I slipped out of being my Harmonious Self. This also needs to be fixed. NOW!

Once again, I turn to a random page in Og Mandino’s, The Greatest Salesman in the World. Here, in reading through Scroll 5 again, this vividly stands out:

I have but one life, and life is naught but a measurement of time. When I waste one, I destroy the other. When I waste today, I destroy the last page of my life. Therefore, each hour of this day, do I cherish, for it can never return. It cannot be banked today, to be withdrawn tomorrow, for who can trap the wind? Each minute of this day I grasp with both hands and hold with Love, for its value is beyond price. I Live this day as if it is my last.

I avoid with fury the killers of time;

Procrastination I destroy with Action.

Doubt I bury under Faith.

Fear I dismember with Confidence.

Where there are idle mouths, I listen not.

Where there are idle hands, I linger not.

Where there are idle bodies, I visit not.

Og Mandino, The Greatest Salesman in the World

Hmmm… I need to go a bit deeper with this, so I turn to Charles Haanel’s Master Key System.

Chapter 23, V. 12 states that; “Spirit, whatever else it may or may not be, must be considered as the essence of consciousness, the Substance of Mind, the Reality of underlying Thought. And as all ideas are phases of the activity of Consciousness, Mind, or Thought, it follows that in Spirit, and in it alone, is to be found the Ultimate Fact, the Real Thing, or Idea.”

Charles Haanel, The Master Key System, 23-12

I just LOVE it when the lessons and the knowledge that I gain over the years comes Full circle!

Passion & Purpose: So many memories are flowing to me now. My entire life is here revealing itself before my eyes. I was born of a great white light, and it is time to share my story, and fulfill my purpose, which is to share Hope, Joy, and Affluence; helping others by Inspiring them to become the very best version of themselves.

Check out this blog post I wrote back in 2017: Brenda’s Amazing Journey

My entire life, I’ve wanted to travel the world. I even have a very large World map on my office wall, with pushpins marking the places that I have lived, been to, or want to visit. It’s part of me creating my own reality, and since September, I’ve traveled out of the country twice, and been back to Texas once.

In silent reflection, I look to my Dream boards that I created back in 2016 when I went through the Master Key Experience course as a student, which are also hanging on my office walls…

I do have many colleagues, all over the world, whom I work in magnificent teams with.

I do live in a large family compound, near the mountains. There are the pitter-patters of little feet.

I do watch the sunrise and the sunsets, and I do enjoy Nature’s splendor all around.

I do travel to exotic vacation destinations, collecting seashells, driftwood, rocks, and great friends!

In late Sept. 2023, my lifelong dream of going to Costa Rica presented itself to me. This marks the beginning of the rest of my life! #Sixhunnathousandolla and I spent 6 days there at a retreat with one of my best friends, and sister in this line of work, but also with an absolutely Dynamic group of human beings.

We learned a lot about ourselves, worked on our mindfulness, and had a lot of fun!

One day, we went sunset sailing on a Catamaran. Some new, and wonderful, lifetime bonds were created. I truly look forward to the quarterly excursions that are planned. This is definitely the way to go!

Then in Early November, my extended personal family held a family reunion in Portland, Oregon. A place that I love but haven’t been back to in many years. There were 4 generations, and 20+ members of the family there. Most of us stayed in a very large AirBnB together. We spent 6 days cooking, building puzzles, laughing, crying, and visiting with my father, who is now 89, and the eldest living member of the family. Oh, how I just Love genuine connections!

One day, we went to my sister’s, to finally go through my mom’s belongings which she left for us. WOW! Such treasures! Even though she’s been gone for 13 years now, her strong-willed Spirit is still very prevalent in my life. I acquired many of her beloved seashells from the 1950’s when my parents went to the Virgin Islands, and instead of living in a box, they are on display within my home and yard. I also acquired some of her jewelry, which I wear very often. There are some old silver coins dating back to the 1920’s. And the photos… Oh my goodness. There’s so many of them… Full circle, anyone?

One of the days, my siblings and I, and a few of our kids, went to visit my Mom’s grave. It was a damp, rainy day in Portland’s NW hills. Exactly how I remember it. Her presence was very strong there as well. She wanted a headstone in the shape of a bowl, so the birds would always have food and water. Sure enough, it was full of water, and there were natural organisms swimming in the water. SO VERY COOL….

On another day we went to the beach to walk, and collect seashells, rocks, and driftwood.

Without planning this, the Universe provided the exact same beach that I was on, while I was writing in my journal at age 16, when the tide came in and surrounded me one day.

Whoa! Synchronicities? I AM in the flow…

Now, in mid-December, I find myself in Lake Louise, Canada for 7 days. Wow! The scenery here is surreal…. We went sleigh riding up to the frozen waterfalls one day and observed the glacier off in the distance. The wonders of this planet that we all call home simply Amaze me.

On another day, we went on a snowshoeing tour. Me? Up in Grizzly bear country, in the woods? And what about the wolves, and the moose? Ha! Quite an awesome time was had. It was quite physically challenging for me, and I even tripped on my snowshoes at one point and had to be picked back up off the ground.

But I turned this challenge into stepping stones, and succeeded in making the loop with the rest of the group. I also addressed some of my lifelong fears. Score!

In one of the classroom exercises, a new vision comes to me. All tied into my passion, and my purpose. Clarity on what I need to do, and work on next.

Then, on the last night, hanging out in the library with a group of friends, it was determined that this year is my time to let my light shine.

Then, just 2 weeks ago, I returned to Austin to work on myself for another 5 days. Now back home in Colorado, I can honestly say that I have been very busy, working, and also thoroughly enjoying my life. I absolutely love being here with my kids and grandkids. I continue to refine my purpose through my passions. I AM so very Grateful for everything!

I leave you today, with this excerpt on visions and ideals from As a Man Thinketh by James Allen…

Cherish your visions; cherish your ideals. Cherish the music that stirs in your heart, the beauty that forms in your mind. The loveliness that drapes your purest thoughts. For out of them grows all delightful conditions, all heavenly environments; Of these, when you remain true to them, your world is at last built.

Dream Lofty dreams, and as you dream, so shall you become. Your vision is the promise of what you shall one day be; your ideal is the prophecy of what you shall at last unveil.

James Allen, As a Man Thinketh

Dreams are the seedlings of realities.

Until next time! ~Brenda
